The City of Pointe-Claire is seeking young, dynamic and committed candidates to become volunteer members of the Youth Advisory Board from January 2023 to August 2024. Exceptionally, the candidates will make a commitment to a 20-month mandate. Subsequent mandates will be for 12 months.
To provide a welcoming and high-quality living environment of which citizens can be proud, through the City’s leadership and practices focused on excellence.
The Youth Advisory Board is a working group of 10 young City residents who meet to propose recommendations or activities to City Council on any matter related to improving activities, services, special events, facilities, and policies in order to consistently better meet the needs of young people and encourage their participation in their living environment.
• 14 to 21 years old• Resident of the City of Pointe-Claire• Bilingual (French and English)• Involved in the community• Available to attend a minimum of one meeting per month, on Wednesday evenings.
